Willoughby Community Park, Langley

A weekend of food,
performance and community.
On June 6–7, the park beside the Langley Events Centre hosted Korean food booths, cultural performances and festival activities. Taekwondo demonstrations and traditional dance brought families and visitors together around the performance space.
KCYAS youth and community volunteers helped with the festival on the ground. Thank you to the vendors, performers, partners and everyone who joined us in Langley.

The City of Lougheed hosted two days of food stalls, performances, local businesses and community groups. Visitors explored Korean food and products, watched the live stage and met the people behind the booths.
Opening day, September 5, was officially proclaimed Korean Food Day in British Columbia. The opening ceremony marked the occasion with the provincial proclamation.
KCYAS participated through a festival booth and volunteering, alongside the volunteers and organizations supporting the event.
